We just got back from a nice day in the small city Trosa, which is not all that far away from our house here in Sweden.
We went for a stroll in the harbor and just looked around the restaurants and small shops. It was totally amazing!
We looked like tourists just snapping pictures of everything, lmao!
It is such a nice little city and totally cute too. Kim felt like she was in a Astrid Lindgren story and she is definitely going back to the restaurant by the water so that she maybe can get it on with one of the boat/yacht owners, LOOOOOL
Seriously though; we will be going back sometime when the weather is good again cus it really does look like a good time!
We had a little afternoon tea in this really cute cafe where they played old oooold school music. Kinda felt like we were in a classic movie!!
We really had a nice time with the parents and we would definitely do it again!
Here’s some pics:
Today is our last day in London and of course we have left all sorts of things to the absolute last minute!
Such a typical KimTasch thing to do.. lool
We literally just got back from West end and we are far from done.
We have exactly one hour to pack clean and get ready to go to Rodizo Brazil Buffé, fortunately Paow is getting her packing done, but Kim is casually sitting down and just being down about leaving London.
Kim has always wanted to leave London and usually can’t wait to go back to Sweden but this time is different! Very different!
We both wish this summer was not coming to an end but this is it really, we have no choice!
Of course it will be fun to see family and friends from Sweden cus we miss them but it kinda sucks that’s all!
We have been running around like headless chickens but we have at least dropped Nala off with Helen. She will be taking care of her for a week before she is passed on to Fatou. Kim feels really bad for leaving her like a gypsy, but there’s not much choice really. We are happy that she is staying with two really responsible and loving girls at least.
Well we gotta be going now cus we gotta hurry to the restaurant so that we don’t miss our reservations and we’re meeting the Swedish crew for some drinks on the bar strip in Clapham High Street shortly after dinner too. Time optimists? Yes we are!
Kim will most likely pack like 30 mins before leaving the house.. sad but probably true!
We are soo going to miss this little Princess!!!!!
We will be posting pics from our last evening here later on.
Yesterday we went to the Swedish church in London with Fatou cus we had a meeting with the priest to arrange the details for Akeems christening.
Kim has been chosen to be one of the godmothers so it was really important for her to be there at this meeting.
The church turned out to be really beautiful and intimate and they have a lot of opportunities for the members of the church. The priest was also very kind and comforting so we reckon this is gonna be a really good christening.
After this we decided to go to the market in Camden town. The weather was really nice and hot so we decided to buy something at the food market and sit by the canal, there is so many different kinds of food to choose from however we all chose Thai.
We didn’t really find anything that we wanted or needed, except for Kim she bought herself two pairs of shoes and a necklace. We had a really good time, Fatou and I made fun of Kim the whole day and we all had great laughs.
We were all really tired and decided to go home around 5pm and once we got home; Kim and I had a nap. In the evening Kim decided to go out for a casual dinner with a friend but it later turned out that it was a date lol! she quite enjoyed herself tho and the food was AMAZEBALLS!
If you’re looking to have authentic Cuban food with some nice Latino music playing in the background then this is the place to go: Buena Vista
They have live music bands from Thursdays to Sundays that play Cuban son and it really feels like you’re in actual Cuba!
We highly recommend it!
Also the dish Cubanito which is absolutely delish! Followed by some Mojitos Yummie!
Stay Blessed y’all!
